- ESL's NEW 4613 one-part insulating paste for aluminum and NEW compatible 9903 high-conductivity low-firing silver paste
ESL 4613 is a one-part dielectric paste designed for insulation of aluminum alloy substrates. This material can be used to provide the best voltage breakdown properties and insulation resistance. The 4613 dielectric has excellent adhesion and low warpage when used with type 3000 and 6000 alloy substrates. The materials can be used with flat substrates as well as those formed into heat sinks with little warping and no cracking or adhesion issues. The breakdown voltage can consistently exceed 1,500VDC when the total dielectric fired thickness exceeds 50 micrometers, though lower thickness may be sufficient for less demanding applications. - 9912-K THICK PRINT
ESL 9912-K THICK PRINT silver is a very smooth, screen-printable conductor for use in power and heat spreading applications. Smoothness is a function of the screen mesh that is used but even low mesh count screens produce good, smooth deposits. The 9912-K THICK PRINT may be considered as a possible replacement for Direct Bonded Copper (DBC). Specific applications include heat transfer for high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs), automotive power modules where large diameter (>200µm) wire bonds are used, and any circuitry requiring high-current carrying capacity and/or excellent thermal management. - Materials for Planar Oxygen Sensors and other HTCC Structures
